Lights Out

Lights Out is a mini-game that came out in 1995 by Tiger Electronics, and I was able to replicate it during my free time. The purpose of this was to learn more about the game in general and to increase my coding skills.

KEY THINGS I WORKED ON:
  • Designed a clear UI for the player

  • Programmed the mechanics of the game with each of the functionalities of the original game

  • Implemented a click counter mechanic to make the game more fun and challenging to the player

  • PLATFORM: Windows PC

  • ENGINE: Unity3D

  • LANGUAGE: C#

  • TOOLS USED: Unity3D, Visual Studio

  • DURATION: 1 Week

  • COMPLETION: 2019

  • TEAM SIZE: 1

Game Experience

During the process of replicating the game, I learned new features about programming, while also increasing my knowledge about it. I started to use Arrays, something I didn't do before because I didn't know how they work and how useful they are. Overall it was a fun project and a new experience for me, and I also achieved my goal of learning new skills and increase my coding abilities.
